WARRANTY REGISTRATION

LIMITED WARRANTY

DocksLocks offers a limited lifetime warranty to the original consumer purchaser that DocksLocks products will be free from defects in workmanship and material under normal consumer use, subject to the exclusions set forth below in Paragraph 4 (“EXCLUSIONS”). This warranty statement sets forth DocksLocks' total and exclusive warranty obligation. We will not assume, nor authorize any person to assume for us, any other liability in connection with the sales of our products.

REMEDY

DocksLocks will repair, replace or refund your original purchase (at DocksLocks' option and expense) any DocksLocks product that fails to operate during the applicable warranty period due to a defect in workmanship or material.

LIMITED TO ORIGINAL CONSUMER BUYER

The warranty on DocksLocks' products is limited to the original consumer purchaser and is not transferable to any subsequent owner.

EXCLUSIONS

DocksLocks products are intended as theft deterrents and should not be relied upon as guarantees against theft. As such, DocksLocks provides no express or implied warranty in relation to theft prevention or any resulting damage, theft or loss of property while using DocksLocks products. Furthermore, the DocksLocks warranty does not cover:

  • (i) any product that is misused, abused, altered, damaged by accident, or used outside of normal consumer use as outlined in DocksLocks' current product literature;
  • (ii) any product purchased through unauthorized retailers
  • (iii) lost or forgotten cable lock combinations or misplaced keys

HOW TO RECEIVE SERVICE

To obtain warranty service, you must contact our customer service team via our online Contact Us form. If our customer service team determines that further assistance is required, they will give you a Return Material Authorization (“RMA”) number. You must properly package the product, clearly marking the RMA number on the package and include proof of your purchase date with the product. Customer Service will provide return instructions, including return address. We will process your return and send your repaired or replacement product to you at our expense for product being shipped to locations in North America.

IMPLIED WARRANTIES

THE LIMITED WARRANTY STATED HEREIN IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTIES. IN NO EVENT SHALL ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT, EXTEND BEYOND THE APPLICABLE WARRANTY PERIOD.

EXCLUSIVE REMEDY; LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The limitations stated herein constitute the entire liability of DocksLocks and your exclusive remedy for any breach of warranty, whether express or implied. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL DOCKSLOCKS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE USE OR MALFUNCTION OF ANY DOCKSLOCKS PRODUCT, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGE TO OTHER PROPERTY OR DEVICES, THEFT OR LOSS OF PROPERTY. IN NO EVENT SHALL DOCKSLOCKS' LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM, WHETHER ARISING IN CONTRACT, WARRANTY, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE OR STRICT LIABILITY), OR UNDER ANY OTHER THEORY OF LIABILITY, EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE DOCKSLOCKS PRODUCT IN QUESTION.
