How to use the DocksLocks® System:

When the eye is pressed down, the jaws open. The jaws fit around the leash plug bar. Sliding the outer housing downward closes the jaws around the leash plug bar and exposes the eye. The male end of the included cable is threaded through the eye, which limits the vertical motion, keeping the jaws secure, and allows you to then lock the cable to whatever solid structure you choose, including roof racks and truck tie-downs. Lock multiple boards with a single cable!

DOCKsLOCKs® Lock (Jaws) consists of a highly machined stainless steel mechanism that slides up and down, through a hardened nylon outer housing. At the top end of the stainless mechanism there is a stainless steel eye. At the other end, there are stainless jaw-like appendages. That can attach to your leash plug bar, or DOCKsLOCKs® Fin box Cleat.

No leash plug? No worries! To accommodate boards without leash plugs, the Cleat serves as an adaptor by making a traditional fin box DOCKsLOCKs® ready. The Cleat is made from marine grade stainless steel, so it is both strong and weather resistant. It is placed into the track of your fin box, either fore or aft of your fin. The Cleat comes with a one-way set screw, which means that once it is installed a would-be thief will not be able to remove it.

**Important** Remember to place your Cleat either all the way forward or back in your fin box, with the cut out portion of the Cleat FACING IN TOWARD THE CENTER OF YOUR FINBOX, as it becomes a permanent fixture in you fin box track.)
